Rules
Hello there, welcome to CaD!

Please take 5 minutes to just read through the rules.

Thanks,
Curt

- No vulgar language
This means that you may not post language that could easily be offensive to many users. There are no need for words of this magnitude, so it is in the safety of younger members is it forbidden.
- No discussion of other accounts
This means that you should not discuss or talk about another members account. This is to preserve their privacy and security.

- No encouraging illegal activity, such as drugs or gangs
This is for member safety. Those things should not be discussed if we want a healthy forum.

- No spamming or flooding, except in the spam forum
Spam us a waste of space, and so will be deleted if posted.

- No racism, sexism, or discrimination
Any discrimination is uncalled for, and is taken seriously at CaD. Everyone is equal in things they cannot control, especially on the internet.

- No flaming or yelling at another member
Flaming builds an unconstructive and unhealthy environment which can lead to further rule-breaking. This is not the atmosphere we want on CaD, and it shall not be tolerated.

- No trying to get account details such as passwords
This is strictly forbidden. This could lead to hacking and hijacking another member’s account to abuse the forum on it.

- No impersonation of a member, especially a moderator
This is strictly forbidden. The people that spend time on this forum do not need to deal with people pretending to be them.

- No linking to malicious sites
This is for protection of the members of CaD. If a virus link is on your post, you will be severely dealt with. This is a vile practice not to be done here.

- No threatening other members or generally making them feel uncomfortable
Again, this is an atmosphere issue. Do not exploit others.

- Refrain from posting adult-oriented content
There are people that come here that are not adults, and such content would make them feel offended. It is much better not to post this stuff, and keep it out.

- No abusing the report system
The report system is an important tool for moderators. This is interfering with their duties and could be seen as encouraging rule breaking.

- No harassment
This is the same reasoning for threatening

- No asking for personal details
This violates the privacy and security of our members. Depending on who it is, it could be dangerous for them, and that is not endorsed on CaD.

- No being rude or flame baiting
Very simple, and an atmosphere issue. This is not ever needed. Ever.

- No accusing a moderator of a wrongdoing on the public forum- use PMs
Publicly accusing a moderator of a wrongdoing will be considered spamming. Do not use the report system- moderators can see that.

- Post in the correct forum for the topic
This is seen as spam. It may be moved to another forum, but try to post in the right forum.

- Do not create a topic that has already had its subject created
This is considered spam, for the simple reason that it is not needed and is a waste of space.

- Links must be relevant to the topic.
That is the only reason we allow links, because they could be very useful to topics. Posting off topic links is pointless.

- Do not ask to become a staff member- these are chosen privately
This will lessen your chances of becoming staff.

- No exploiting the rules
This means twisting them to your own will, or finding ‘loopholes’. Depending on the situation, you will still be in trouble.

- No posting copyrighted content, claiming it to be your own
It is copyrighted, and cannot be posted like this. This is for legal reasons.

~ These rules are subject to change without notice ~
~ Administrators and Moderators may need to violate these rules from time to time- but if you feel that it is uncalled for, feel free to PM an Administrator. ~
~ These rules are very general. Using them to your own advantage is not tolerated- all it is is exploiting the rules, which is forbidden. ~
