Just wanted to let the word out that I got a new sound card, and after months, I have sound on my computer! :D

My sound card was broken and it got fixed. :blink:

I really hope my speakers can't send low and high frequency sounds...

The human threshold for hearing is from 20 Hz (lowest we can hear) and about 20,000 Hz (highest we can hear). Anywhere from 5-9 Hz is theorized to be 'brown noise', which is so low, that it loosens you bowels, and ejects the fecal matter (if you know what I mean) ;) .

Yes i know what you mean. I've exposed my sister to 19,000 Hz for fun. maybe i should try the brown noise... :evil:

Yeah. I was playing with sounds with this coolio program at school- and some people found this sound that was pretty high (not the highest, but very high still) and it literally made your head ache and your hands would involuntarily twitch a little if you didn't pay attention to then. Sound is the complex waves and movement of air particles (or whatever medium they are in), so I'm not surprised that it can mess with you a bit. :blink:
